Who We Are

From our 150-year-old Territorial, we at O'Keeffe Café are proud to continue the heritage of Georgia O'Keeffe in Northern New Mexico.  Do we live in the high desert?  Yes, but a land of great bounty as well as sere beauty.

Executive Chef Leo Varos, a native of New Mexico, fell in love with the French regions of Perigord, Provence and the Basque country. His cuisine is profoundly influenced by these regions.

My own background involves importing and exporting some of the world's greatest wines: bringing French and Italian wines to the US while based in New York and then exporting Napa Valley wines to 100 countries.  I pledge that our 180 wines are chosen from the world's top 2%.  Over the last 25 years, the quality of international wine has surpassed by far all previous efforts.  This is the Golden Age of Wine.  Give your heart a benefit today, have a glass of wine!
